The Charleston Light Opera Guild will present Disney's Frozen at the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of WV's Maier Performance Hall on weekends February 6 -15, 2026.
Based on the 2013 Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love. Disney’s Frozen includes all the film’s beloved songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, along with new music written exclusively for the stage. The book is by Jennifer Lee. At the center of this fairy tale are Princesses Anna and Elsa. When Elsa’s long-concealed magical powers are finally unleashed, she flees into the mountains, far away from her home in the kingdom of Arendelle to protect her sister and others. As a dangerous and chilling winter descends on the kingdom, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home - with the help of hard-working ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf. The musical is full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score.
