Endowment Campaign

70th Anniversary Endowment campaign

The Charleston Light Opera Guild strives to entertain, excite and inspire audiences with high-caliber community based musical theatre offered at an affordable price.

More than 14,000 audience members view a Guild production each year and co-productions with the Clay Center enable another 2,400 students to attend a production.

The Charleston Light Opera Guild owns and maintains its own theatre and workshop where some summer productions are held, while other productions are presented at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center Little Theater and the Clay Center Maier Performance Hall.

The Charleston Light Opera Guild credits many working professionals in theatre, music, dance, film, television and production among its alumni. These include Jennifer Garner, Kathy Mattea, Ann Magnuson, Joe Chrest, and Rebecca Robbins.

Your donated dollars will support and sustain live community theatre by:

Investing in people.

Restoring and maintaining physical assets.

Improving quality of life.

Preserving our heritage.

Hear from CLOG alum and honorary campaign chairperson, Jennifer Garner, on why this campaign is so important:
